The ‡Khomani San’s return to ancestral land in 1999 marked a powerful moment of justice and recognition. Though 61,000 hectares were restored, ongoing challenges in employment, education, and infrastructure highlight that the journey toward full restitution continues for one of South Africa’s last remaining First Peoples.
